  • This is the most effective and efficient type of "cardio" you can do. It is high-intensity work delivered in a short amount of time. The payoff: The after burn in your metabolism for 24 to 36 hours after your exercise is finished!
    Appropriate for all fitness levels.
    At FUNction and FITness,  you don’t see rows of cardio equipment, like you do at most gyms. We use a much more effective (and a lot more fun) way to do “cardio”. Our BURN group sessions are our version of a cardio workout. They burn calories, get your metabolism revving and give you the cardiovascular benefits you are looking for.

    In the research, interval cardio training has been shown to be the most effective for fat loss. We’ve taken it up a notch and incorporated exercises in multiple planes of motion, using all kinds of equipment such the TRX, kettlebells, ropes, sandbags, medicine balls, and more into an interval-style workout. You’ll have a blast and you’ll torch fat! In addition to 1-3 strength workouts/ Complete Strength, add a Metabolic group session 1-3 times a week.


    Are you ready for something different? Many people strength train with weights, while others do cardio or aerobics - somewhere in between is BURN, the ultimate fat loss workout. Some of the tools and techniques may seem new to you, but many have been around for over 100 years! Not only will you burn up to 1,000 calories an hour, but you will continue to burn fat and calories up to 48 hours after your workout is complete.

  • Semi-private strength training. Each client has their own individualized program specific to their body and their goals. As your body changes and adapts, so will your program.

  • STRONG
  • Our #1 priority at FUNction and FITness is to burn calories and build lean muscle. STRONG group sessions are structured to take the place of a full body strength workout.
     
    STRONG workouts at FUNction and FTness's are meant  to boost your metabolism for the long term. These sessions are in sets of exercises for specific repetitions. You will use weights that are challenging for the set reps. Members are encouraged to push yourself to lift a little more each session.
    If you‘re one of our Customized Members you should be doing your individualized strength program with a coach. Your strength program was designed specifically for you by our program design team in place of a STRONG group session. STRONG group sessions were designed to give our Essentials Members the benefits of a full body strength program. Workout with a coach during a customized session or take a STRONG group session 1-3 times a week.
     
    STRONG
    Want to get stronger, slimmer and more athletic? Strong is the solution. Working with heavier loads and fewer reps means more strength without bulk. This program combines old- school tools with modern science to provide you with the fastest path to better strength and conditioning.
     

  • SMALL GROUP TRAINING
  •  

    In the Small Group setting, we will place you in the proper level of training for your goals and concerns. During your training sessions, you will meet with one of our certified trainers in our Small Group format (2-5 people). In this personalized setting, you will be exposed to in-depth instruction while focusing on your specific goals. It’s just as good as private personal training at a fraction of the cost with the added motivation of your workout partners.
